1. Subscribing to the Mailing List
To subscribe, or make adjustments to your mailing list subscription, use the form at http://lists.ontonet.org/mailman/listinfo/ontogenesis. As part of the subscription propcess, you may supply a password, or one may be generated for you automatically and returned to the subscribed email address.
You can also subscribe or make adjustments via email by sending a message to OntoGenesis-request@mail.ontonet.org. Send such a message with the word `help' in the subject or body (don't include the quotes), and you will get back a message with instructions.
2. Posting a message to the Mailing List
To post a message, send an email containing the message to OntoGenesis@mail.ontonet.org.
By default, the system accepts messages only from subscribed email addresses (this is mainly an anti-spam measure). Messages from other addresses will be held for moderation and, if the moderator believes message has a legitimate topic for the list, usually the address used will be noted so that further messages from the same address are automatically accepted.
3. Viewing the Message Archive
The message archive can be viewed using a web browser, at http://lists.ontonet.org/mailman/private/ontogenesis/.
Access to the message archive is restricted to list members. You will be prompted to enter a subscribed email address and password before being permitted to view the messages.
